decodeunicode — the movie brings together all 109,242 Unicode characters into a single feature-length movie. All of these scripts, symbols, and emojis encoded by Unicode can be used on personal computers or smartphones. For Bergerhausen it is the United Nations of Typography.

This poster presents one glyph for each of the world’s writing systems. The glyphs were drawn at ANRT in France. A four-color code indicates whether they are living or historical scripts, and whether they are Unicode encoded.
