Bayn Journal
Bayn Journal is a biannual journal. It publishes focused, thematic volumes on graphic design, with the aim of nurturing an inclusive intellectual environment that stimulates and questions existing discourse.
Elham Namvar is a graphic designer and researcher, and co-founder and editor of Bayn Journal. She holds an International Master of Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Basel School of Design. Her work encompasses publications, experiential design, and research-oriented projects. Namvar’s current exploration revolves around methodologies of archiving and taxonomies of knowledge.
Rasha Dakkak is editor and co-founder of Bayn Journal. With a focus on being responsive to context, her work is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach and ranges from publications and visual identities to objects. She holds an International Master of Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Basel School of Design, and a BSc from the American University of Sharjah.
