The Office of the Archive (OofA) is an on-site archiving office that collects artifacts and impressions of the biennial for ongoing indexing. ‘The Absolute Beginners’ (TAB) archivist team will work in a mobile office to document and archive the Biennial in a public and performative manner. OofA is not an exhibition. It helps people (of the present and the future) to better understand the Fikra Graphic Design Biennial 01: Ministry of Graphic Design.

TAB is Tetsuya Goto (Japan) and Saki Ho (Hong Kong). They aim to connect visitors with the Biennial. Using familiar tools, from smartphones to pen and paper, TAB encourages visitors to participate actively in the process of archiving and indexing.
