Foundland Collective
Established in 2009 by Lauren Alexander (South Africa) and Ghalia Elsrakbi (Syria), Foundland Collective works from Amsterdam and Cairo. The shared platform enables reflection upon the stakes of producing politically-engaged, de-colonial storytelling as non-Western artists in Europe and the Middle East. By using innovative image-making and modes of personal interpretation, Foundland Collective aims to create alternative narratives to media reporting.
