Working on the theme of NATION (community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, ethnicity, a cultural-political community that has become conscious of its autonomy, unity, identity, and particular interests) we will resign FLAGS in a very playful and colorful way.

The Workshop will question NATIONAL or PERSONAL SYMBOLS, examining the power of color. What would your personal FLAG look like? What would a Flag for the Department of Flying Saucers, Graphic Optimism, Dematerializing Language etc. look like? How would we resign NATIONAL FLAGS?

The Workshop will depart on experimental prints on the Risograph, creating a palette of designs and prints – to finish with a production of FLAGS that will be exhibited during the Fikra Graphic Design Biennial 01: Ministry of Graphic Design.
